Apple Picking in Ontario

At last im back on the track, writing new entries again. I been inactive for a while due to morning sickness from my first trimester of pregnancy. Yes! I am pregnant again for the third time...
Better late than never... I would like to share with you some photos from our apple picking adventure, which we started two years ago when I was pregnant with my second son. It was a fun-filled moment especially for those who have not seen a pretty apple tree before. I am talking about my husband...lol! I've seen some apple trees when I was in Germany and It was amazing! I never missed the chance to have my picture taken with my Mom  for the first time. Wish I have that photo with me now because it was so funny! When I was a kid, it was one of my dream to see a real apple tree. Anyway just reminiscing the past a little bit. ...
Apple picking usually starts early Fall from September- October where a lot of apple orchards open their doors to  visitors. The adventure usually starts on a wagon ride, as you pass by the different variety of apples, you will be able to choose which one you like to pick as the wagon operator introduces each variety. By the way admission is free, you need to buy a plastic bag and enjoy picking your own apple and eat it too!

The Big’r Apple Farm is only about an hour’s drive from the city and definitely a popular destination for family apple picking. Like almost all apple farms they have an impressive pick your own areas making it an excellent place to spend an afternoon, particularly if you’ve got children to entertain. The added bonus is the service is notable friendly and always hospitable.

There's a lot more aside from apple picking, they have some varieties of pumpkin to choose from, a great decoration for the halloween and of course the pumpkin pies. Stores also offer some homemade pastries, pies and jams, honey, apple cider and apple juice.
We are looking forward till the next visit to the apple farm next year, by then it will be two kids and a baby!

that was my dream too when I was a kid, ewan ko there's always something special with apples di ba. sa books at cartoons ko lang nakikita apple tree, but you know what kapag nakakita ka na that's it. wala na yung excitement.
the best talaga if you have your family with you para mag enjoy. ang hindi nakakasawa is too see the smile on their faces.
